When Cadence wanted to transform the electronic design automation (EDA) industry into a strategic business asset, they called on Racepoint Group for helping in developing a vision for the future of the industry and a program to challenge long-accepted industry norms.
Our strategy was to redefine the entire dialogue about EDA. We sought to accomplish this by capitalizing on social media as a means for building a community of supporters. To bring this community together we published a provocative thought leadership paper challenging the very underpinnings of the EDA industry and reframing it as a strategic business asset.
Our use of social media to leak our vision, augmented by an aggressive print media program in leading business press, resulted in significant coverage of Cadence. More important, it placed Cadence at the center of a transformational dialogue. We have leveraged this position to be the thought leader, frame the company’ entire product strategy and support its growth in the market.
