Larry Weber, a thought leader in the public relations field, has been at the forefront of the use of technology in PR for more than two decades. Larry is also the chairman of W2 Group, a global marketing services ecosystem that helps CMOs in their new role as builders of communities and content aggregators.
In 1987 Larry founded The Weber Group, which within a decade became the world's largest public relations firm, Weber Shandwick Worldwide. In early 2000, Larry became chairman and CEO of Interpublic's Advanced Marketing Services Group, where he built and oversaw an $800 million group that included the world's top public relations, healthcare communications, branding, research, and entertainment and experiential marketing firms.
Larry is the co-founder and chairman of the Massachusetts Innovation and Technology Exchange (MITX), the world's largest interactive advocacy organization. He is also on the Boards of Directors of Yankee Group, MIVA, Communispace and Compete. His second book, business bestseller Marketing to the Social Web: How Digital Customer Communities Build Your Business, was published by John Wiley & Sons in June 2007 with a second edition in February 2009. His third book, Sticks & Stones: How Digital Business Reputations Are Created Over Time...And Lost in a Click, was published in July 2009.

Rich joined W2 Group and Racepoint in March 2008 to leverage his extensive experience solving and preventing problems for corporations dealing with litigation, the media and special interest groups.
Previously, he enjoyed a successful career heading the premier issue and crisis management firm Rowan & Blewitt, which worked for the world's leading corporations, including 30 of the Fortune 100 companies. Rowan & Blewitt was considered by many to be "the front office" firm to turn to because of its success with issues and crises facing global corporations. The firm received notoriety for helping Exxon after the Valdez oil spill, supported American Airlines following the 9/11 attack, assisted Household Finance with the sub-prime lending controversy, and counseled Ford Motor during the Firestone Tire issue.
Rich is a member of the Board of Visitors of the University of Maryland's University College, one of the world's largest public universities with major online growth, and the Board of Governors of the Josephson Institute of Ethics, best known for Character Counts! program for youngsters. He has served as chair of both boards and both organizations are full partners in The Blewitt Foundation, which was formed in 2005 to support the severely injured of U.S. military and their families.
